Multi Fuel Boilers

A multi-fuel boiler would be located in the boiler house or garden shed and will heat water only when needed. The house has termostats which open and close as the zones in the house require heat. Ideally the boiler should run 24 hours a day - this is more efficient as the boiler never has to warm up, and it remains at 65-70deg all the time.

Fuel Types

This boiler will burn the following fuel types:

1. Woodchip: 2.5-5 kg (depending on moisture) = 1 L oil
2. Pellet: 2kg = 1 L oil
3. Sawdust: 2.5-5 approx = 1L oil
4. Grain, Barley, Wheat, Oats: 2.2kg =1L oil
5. Waste Grain: 2.5kg approx = 1L oil
6. Logs

Additional Information

• It can burn logs and when burnt out it will continue to use pellets.
