Kind of Fuel

The wood chips industry has increased greatly over the last few years. With the increase of the area under forestry the fuel from 1st thinning has a new market into the heating sector. Also waste wood that is free from contamination, it can be chipped and is a cost effective fuel. The value of this material is high as it requires very little processing. If you can use wood chips below 35 % moisture then the energy values is much greater. We supply and install boilers that can burn both wood chips and wood pellet. Both are fed into the boiler automatically.

Multifuel - Kind of Fuels

The rising cost of oil and gas has made other by products from the wood and biomass industry more cost effective. We have installed boilers that burn straw, cereal grains, sawdust and cardboard. It is important that this fuel is burnt under the correct conditions and a controlled environment. Components of these boilers look after these conditions but more service of the boiler is required where the ash content rises above 5 %.

All of the above fuels are freely available so for larger installations they are becoming more popular and saving the end user up to 30% on their energy costs.
