Solar Manufacturing Production in Our Premises

Next Gen Heat has entered into Contractual Agreements with Arcon Solar from Denmark to make the ST-VN solar collector in Ireland. This has been part of the business plan for 2011 and 2012 within Ireland. The work will be carried out in the second to third quarter of 2011.  The plans remain on track but investment has to be looked at taking the current opportunity of people investing money in their homes and knock on effects from the serious financial difficulties facing Ireland.

For the people in Next Gen Heat it is a good investment as it will bring more jobs into the Irish economy and customers will know that the money they invest in this technology is well proven and will give a good return. As energy costs continue to rise the savings are making the pay back more justifiable.

The collector that we will be making has all the proven results from Denmark for the past 30 years, Arcon will continue to supply us with the Industrial HT which we use for the large scale systems but the more normal 2.5 sq m will be made in Mullingar and by doing so will add another 3 to 4 production jobs in house, not to mention all the added value to general industry on the supply side of the materials required many of which we intend to source in Ireland.

It will give some more credit to the solar collector industry in Ireland as more people experience the benefits of having a proven solar system fitted and sized correctly to meet their hot water needs from April to September.
