Kind of FuelKind of Fuel

In Ireland there are many types of solid fuel, in the past turf and coal being the most common. As the bogs become more depleted, we are turning to wood and off cuts from the forestry industry. With all our hedge rows many home owners have access to good dry wood fuel. Dried wood is far better for boilers so try to store in a dry place until it is below 20% moisture.

Cut logs are the main fuel and we have many boilers that can use logs up to 90 cm in length by 20 cm in width.
